Middle School Application Procedures

For your protection, please make copies of all of your completed application materials before mailing them to Saint Andrew's School.

A completed Middle School (6-8) application includes the following:

  • Non-refundable Application Fee ($75)
     
  • Parent Statement - Form B
     
  • Student Questionnaire and Essay - Form E (to be completed by the applicant).
     
  • Request for Release of Records - Form D 
    A copy of official previous (two years) and current (first trimester or first semester) school transcripts, including prior year's standarized testing (if applicable) and attendance information.
     
  • Three Recommendations - Confidential teacher recommendations must be sent directly from your student's current school to the Admission Office.  Please provide teachers completing these forms with stamped envelopes addressed to the Admission Office at Saint Andrew's School.

Application Deadline: February 1


Applications completed by February 1 will receive priority consideration.  Admission decisions will be communicated on March 1.  We will continue to process applications after the deadline and when spaces in a particular grade level are filled, the Admission Committee may offer qualified candidates a place on the Waiting List.

Interview and School Tour

An admission interview and tour of the school are important parts of the application process and are required for all applicants who live within a reasonable distance of the school. Please contact the Admission Office to schedule an appointment.

 

Admission Testing
  • Applicants are required to take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT)
  • SSAT registration and test information is available at www.ssat.org or you may call SSAT at 609.683.4440
  • To choose us as location (optional) and as recipients of the scores (required), the Saint Andrew's School SSAT Code is 6286.
  • In some cases the Admission Committee may accept recent SAT, PSAT, ISEE, or ACT results in lieu of SSAT. Please consult with the Admission Office.
